Ever feel like you are in a season of life where you have about 6,000 too many activities on your plate? Yeah. That is me right now. Of course a lot of what I do is not technically necessary to survive, like running the Etsy shop and testing out new crafts/recipes I am always pinning on Pinterest. Anyway, today it was nice to be able to take an hour out of my day to have Cole help me plant the flowers in our planters out front and in the hanging baskets. We even managed to somehow not screw up planting a tiny herb garden (courtesy of my trip to Target today…couldn’t resist it given that it included pretty much everything except water!)
I’m hoping to have pictures posted in a little while via FB/Instagram…but not now…now I have to wake Asher up, feed & change him, wake Vera, get her snack, load the kids, drop Vera, and then head on to Cole’s private lesson…! Bah. It is definitely a hot dog kind of night tonight.
Hi Amanda. I am still working on the bodice part. Did a lot of shirring so far. Still at it… I was just looking ahead to see how the skirt was made and I can't seem to wrap my head around how the fabric is gathered without using elastic thread. I will just have to play around with my machine until I get the right effect. 🙂 I'm very new at sewing.
